We are looking for a self-motivated and productive development chef to assist our Quality Assurance Department in recipe testing and documentation. Our current department runs ASI HACCP programs, shelf life testing, moisture analysis, and pH testing for products. We develop new concepts, as well as, improve current lines and products for quality and longevity

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

The candidate must have an understanding of large scale sourcing, allergen testing, HACCP, QA management systems, an ASI food safety standards.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Ability to work well in a busy environment
  • Must have experience working in a kitchen/bakery setting to understand flow and concept
  • Nutritional data programs, and form standardization is a big plus!
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended periods of time (8+ hours a day)
  • Food Protection Certification holder or willing to obtain certification within 30 days of employment
